TREX OTT Installation Guide

Install TREX OTT 3.1 or X IBO PRO on a compatible device, prepare your activation details and check the most common login and playback problems.

Choose your player before installing

The TREXOTT.CC app directory lists two download options. Use the player recommended for your device and account. Installing both does not create two subscriptions, and a Downloader code is not your login password.

If a code no longer opens the expected app, ask support for the current link. Do not substitute a code from another IPTV brand. The download pages above are the reference for the listed app names and links; installer contents have not been independently tested in this guide.

Prepare your activation details

  • Note your device model and operating system. A Fire TV Stick, Android TV box, Samsung Tizen TV and LG webOS TV do not use the same installation method.
  • Keep your order and activation messages available, including any supplied server address, username, password or playlist link.
  • Check whether your player requires login credentials or device-based activation. If it displays a device ID, send it privately to support when requested.
  • Confirm your account’s simultaneous connection allowance before opening streams on several devices.

Firestick and Android TV installation

  1. Open the device’s app store and install Downloader if it is available for that device.
  2. Launch Downloader and enter 9714019 for TREX OTT 3.1 or 496164 for X IBO PRO.
  3. Check the displayed app name and source before continuing. Stop and contact support if the result differs from the player you were told to use.
  4. If installation permission is required, grant it only to the trusted installer and turn it off again after installation.
  5. Install and launch the chosen player. Follow the account setup screen for that app edition.
  6. Use the activation method supplied by TREXOTT.CC, allow the library to load, then test a live channel and a movie separately.

Menu labels can change between app and device versions. Keep a working player until the replacement is confirmed. If installation is blocked or the app is incompatible, send the exact error and device model to support rather than repeatedly downloading a different APK.

Enter the correct kind of login

A server-based login separates the server URL, username and password. An M3U login uses one full playlist URL. A device-activation screen may instead show an identifier that support needs to associate with your account. Use the format in your activation message rather than converting it yourself.

Copy the complete server address, including any supplied port, and check for spaces introduced by pasting. Preserve capital letters in passwords. If the player asks for a portal address you were not sent, confirm the correct setup with support instead of guessing.

Keep playlist links private: they may contain account credentials. Hide passwords and full URLs before sharing screenshots, and do not publish device IDs or login details in public groups.

Samsung, LG, iPhone and desktop devices

The two codes above are installation references for compatible devices; they are not universal activation codes for every screen. Samsung Tizen and LG webOS cannot install an Android APK. Check the Smart TV guide and confirm the player for your exact TV model, regional store and account type.

iPhone and iPad need an iOS-compatible app from the App Store. For Windows or Mac, request the appropriate player and installer. Confirm any separate player activation fee before paying: a player licence and your TREX OTT subscription are different purchases.

If activation or playback fails

Login rejected or account missing

Check the activation status with support, the selected login method and each copied value. Reinstalling will not correct an expired subscription or a mistyped password. If device-based activation is used, confirm that support received the identifier from the device you are actually using.

Empty playlist or one channel unavailable

Let the initial import finish, then refresh once. Test another channel and a movie. Tell support whether the issue affects one item, one category or the whole library; those patterns require different checks.

Buffering, freezing or playback stopping on another device

Close streams on other devices and test again within your connection allowance. Restart the player and device, pause large downloads on the same network and compare Ethernet with Wi-Fi where supported. Try a lower-quality version of the same channel if available. Use our internet speed guide as one check, rather than treating a speed result as a complete diagnosis.

What should you send support?

Send the device model, player name and version, error message, affected channel or movie and approximate time. List the checks you tried and hide credentials in screenshots. Avoid clearing all app data repeatedly because it can erase saved profiles and favourites.

For a new subscription or renewal, use the current pricing page and renewal instructions. Confirm your account details before purchasing again to solve a setup problem.
